Hyland's Teething Tablets work MUCH better than Orajel.
- place a metal spoon in the freezer and give it to baby to chew on
- a cold, hard stalk of celery - has the advantage of reaching everywhere in the mouth which teething toys just don't do
- wet a baby washcloth and freeze it
- ice cube or "boob cube" in a Baby Safe Feeder
- ice cube tied inside a baby sock

My 10 month old daughter never has had any problems with teething and she has 6 teeth with 4 more coming in right now. But when she did get abit fussy I would use baby orajel and either baby tylonal or motrion. She also liked to chew and suck on a wet washcloth. She would use her teething toys as long as they were not cold or frozen.Just be patient and give your baby some loving.

When babies are teething they will not eat much or drink from the bottle or take the pacififer cuz it hurts them. so they will be fussy.
Tempra is the best thing......I hear those orajels are not that good because it numbs their gums.....they may swallow it and numb their throats and it may affect their eating and drinking.....
at least with Tempra or even Tylenol.....it won't do that.
And the normal things like teething rings, or a cold washcloth from the fridge for them to suck on.

the best through it is a teething ring,a pacifier and lots of patience baby might cry all the time because of the unknown feeling inside his mouth so just be patient give him ice cream/drops and carry him around with a teething ring maybe leave him 2 mins. crying and pick him but put him in his high chair you could get frustated but letting him cry is a way to tell him to stop teething in a painful way

Tempra when it hurts bad, lost of love! I advise against the orajel etc...it also, will freeze the back of the throat, and make it hard for them to swallow all the extra drool. My baby liked the ice cube in the sock idea!

Baby Orajel, baby tylenol drops, and items to chew on like frozen mini bagels, teething toys -- patience.

My advice that works for my son is to give him the teething toys and I gave him tylenol as directed by his weight. Tylenol works great, he likes the grape flavor best. Another good think to use are those freezy pops or in minnesota they have mini popsicles. They are small and just his size, and he loves them. they work miracles.

Teething tablets - they seem to work better than the orajel. You put them under the tongue and they dissolve instantly.

Besides all of medicines, be patient with your baby and give him/her lots of love while they go through this painful experience!
