If u take a prepaid auto they will charge u approx Rs 150/-. If to walk out of the airport and take an auto it will cost u less than half that. It is approxmately 5Km. U will be in Road No: 1. Another 3-4 kms if u want to go further.

we live in banjara hills and I think it definately would take you around 100 rupees..... just got back from hyd after 4 months of vacation and yes the rates have soared since the last itme we were there... is about 8 kms from the airport depending on which road number it is..

If the auto fellow finds you helpless with lot of luggage etc. it may be anywhere between Rs. 150 to rs. 200. If he is convinced taht you are capable of walking few yards and taking teh auto outside airport premises, then it will be about Rs. 50/- to Rs. 60/-

Do a driving direction search on www.mapmyindia.com, it is pretty decent, I have used it for bbay, give it a try for hyd.
