Many don't believe in the fact that gastritis also causes headache. but its true. gastritis causes even loss of appetite and hunger there by one will never feel the hunger at all; but will develop migrane immediately after having food.
Yoga and Pranayama helps a lot. home remedy is -drinking the juice of Green Pumpkin (1/2 cup) every day which is very good remedy for gastritis.
If your husband has developed a fear that eating would cause headache, no doctor can help it. He should be free of mind and believe in the remedy measures he practices either medicine or yoga.

If he is consuming salt it could be coming from a rise in blood pressure or carbohydrates causing a rise in blood sugar. Maybe he should have these things checked right after eating. Good luck.

did u check his BP if his BP is high then dony use salt in his food
