the comprehensive state pension is on the industry in 2 areas. the easy pension is paid at age sixty 5 or sixty seven, after approximately 34 years of sophistication one million contributions. The 2d pension is ,i think of, nonetheless observed as se's like google, and is an added fee that's earnings appropriate. It exchange into achievable to choose out of this scheme. in case you have been self-employed a smaller pension is in keeping with type 2 contributions purely, the class 4 contribution, in keeping with income, isn't considered. All it somewhat is from reminiscence, ask the dep.. of paintings and Pensions for a precis of your entitlement

Don't give up hope and i say that from experience.
In April 2004 i had a massive operation due to Tumours and Cancer, i was given little chance of either surviving the operation or getting rid of the Cancer fully.
Now, i'm fit and well, i go to the Gym and my last3 test has come back all clear.

Assuming by your question you work for the state. Depends on the state, you need to definitely talk to your human resources person in your office or workplace, you do not have to tell them about your illness, that is a private matter they are not required nor priviledged to know about. Your HR person can tell you your options on retirement, I know in my state you have to apply to begin retirement about 4 months before you leave, so you really need to talk to them today!

Do you have life insurance. Check your policy as some contain what is called critical illness cover. If it does then you can cash in your life policy now.
Im sorry to hear about your cancer.
