The story goes like this...
A girl's parents want her to be married to a person that she doesn't know..
She knows that she does not want to but soon accepts if she gets a 3 months freedom.
She gets it and she goes to other country...
She meets this guy..and apparently he is getting arranged marriage to..she doesn't like him but end up liking him..but has no choice to go back and get married...
But he still loved her..and disguised himself as a waiter...
The marriage is celebrated...and there is a memorable scene where the husband has to feed the wife a bowl of water..as that symbolises the final step of the marriage..
But the girl faints...and the the other guy the waiter comes and feeds the water...and the Dad gets cross...
thats all i remember...but I would love to watch it again but I dno't know the title...

It is dilwalay dulhania lay jayenge, Vici, you made a mistake...the guy doesn't disguises in a waiter but one of those men who were coming from the groom's side. and there is all those scenes, like u said. Its a mind blowing movie and i have watched it like 10 times! good luck!!1

no its not dlwale dulhania lay jain gay. shahrukh did not play a waiter in it n there was no bowl of water or anyhting like it in dilwalay.....it must b some other u r talking about...but still..dilwalay is worth a watch.

should be "dilwale duhania le jayenge " played by shah rukh khan n kajol (the best partner/couple). it's not only good but it's touching.
