I have two girl cats, one called Bobbins (because she is a bit bobbins) and one called Lola (inherited from mother in law so I didn't name her). I know they are not that funny but I want to get the smallest dog known to man and call it He-Man, what do you all think of that?

The other thing is that pets names all seem to get changed or the end up with loads of them,

Bobbins = Bobs, bobsy, bobster, bobalina, snibbob, snibsy, the baby etc

Lola = Loly, loly bird, the bird, lolls, little black bean, the bean etc.. stupid isn't it!

Quite the oposite of strange names- I have a chinchilla called Frank and used to have a cat called Clive. Pets deserve dignity: give them proper names

I hope you get that dog and you call it HE- MAN,
What do you call it for short, he! he! that is always a problem you have to remember that when you take it out you have to call it's name, anyway it is a good name for a tiny dog.

I have a female GSD named INKY her name was NICKY for the first 4yrs 9mths,We rescued her and she is the sister of my male so i had to have her but i hated the name because everyone was going on about Nikki on big brother,

My granddaughter was watching the film Aristor cats and in that film is a song that goes rinky dinky dddooo!!!!! and this dog thought she was being called.
So that was it no more Nicky but the poor dog is now called INKY we call her Inky do!!!!!!

I have a total of 3 cats - the female is Lochara (Lockie for short) which means 'follower' in Spanish as she follows me around. One tom cat is Bobo which is Spanish for silly because he's so timid he is silly and the other is Tater-Bug which is slang Jamaican (so I'm told) for lazy git which he is.They were all rescued from cats protection places so I was able to see what they were like before I named them

Our cat (who's just died aged nearly 20) was called "Squeaker" simply because of the noises he used to make when he was a kitten, but my Grandparents had a large mongrel dog who they called "Stinker" - and yes, for obvious reasons - he had a rather raucous wind problem, so you could never blame one of your own on the dog if it had been a quiet one !!!
More tea Vicar?
