Analyze can mean of different things. Questions can be imprecise due to the limits of language and our ability to express the idea. For example:

1. It can mean to objectively evaluate something. Objective observation means you can take unbiased measures. Since the self has no measurable dimension, it cannot be analyzed in this way.

2. It can mean to evaluate the value of something. The self may or may not have value to you, and either way, you have analyzed it.

3. It is common practice for psychiatric patients to undergo analysis. Observation of the self, through discussion. In this process, the doctor can see the person, can see the imprint of emotion on the person's face. They observe tangentially to understand a person. The person is much more than what can be physically seen. (Take away an arm, and you still have the person. Take away two, you still have the person. As an aside: How much can you take away before you don't have a person?) Anyway, the analysis is aimed at the psyche, which can be characterized, but not directly seen. In science there are many examples of using indirect measurements to observe and analyze things we cannot see. We measure radiation, gravitational pull, the bend of light etc to oberve, or detect, objects in space such as antimatter or black holes. No one has ever seen these things, but we can observe them. We can analyze them.

i believe i am an antique mirror, a reflction of the experiences and people i have encountered. my reactions to any new situation are trial and error responses based on what i have learned.
i feel a mirror is a good description as i can also see myself in other people's reactions to my presence, whether positive or negative.

analysing of any thing can be done by 'self'.
'self' is nothing but of 'being'.
so the analysing can be done in such a way.
