I need to buy new car tyres and I'm unsure where I can get the cheapest deal. Am I better buying online, from a national chain, or from a local garage?

Hi

Try Blackcircles.com

I've used it twice recently and defnitely the cheapest and a great service.

It points you to your local dealer.

Do they have Wal-Mart where you live? That's where I get the best deals. If you buy them on-line you still have to pay for the mounting and balancing. So keep that in mind. The local garage doesn't buy tires in bulk like Wal-Mart so I doubt they can give you as good of a price. When you are pricing tires be sure and add in the mounting and balancing to get the total price. Some businesses will sell tires cheap only to stick it to ya when they charge you for the mounting and balancing.

hi depends on wat car you have. but in my experience. you can pick up nearly new, if not new tires, from any well stocked breakers yard/ scrap yard. and the good thing about getting them from there is all you have to do is change ya wheels. i got 4 practically new wheels and all it cost was £40. good luck. ps ya can get the phone numbers for the scrap yards nearest to from the yellow pages. and it,s always a good idea to phone them to enquire first. most of them have every thing they have in stock on computer. so you will know straight away without the hassal of driving every where.
