It's from their Islam religion that instructs that women are a lesser persons and should be controlled and dominated and not show their feminine charms. Many are looked at as property and have no other value than what their husband places on them or his other wives.From young men they are taught that as well the young girls know that will be their lifetime duty to be subservient to their man and Allah comes first and commands it.
