basically the temperature of the universe i.e space has an average temperature of -270 centigrade
that is absolute zero.
the universe is basically cooling
the heat is only in the stars nebulae supernovae etc
as a result of the cooling of the universe all galaxies stars etc have formed

heat in the universe is only in stars and that is why we exist cuz our star the sun provides us with heat.............if u leave humans out of the picture i dont think that then no heat in universe would be such a big deal and the whole universe would still function normally .....cuz as i said that the average temp of the universe is absolute zero and it is still cooling steadily

The universe is cooling so the amount of heat is lowering. The universe was hot at the time of the big bang but it isn't anymore.

Energy is called heat only when it is manifest as the energy of (random) motion of molecules of matter. If the molecules of all matter were still, there will be no world as we know it. No states of matter, no chemical reactions, no physical properties like friction....
