Cardinals all the way

The New York Mets will win based on the following: The Mets have a superb lineup facing Right-Handed pitchers. Their only flaw over the season was facing left-handed pitchers, where they had a .222 or so avg. The Cardinals pitching rotation have only right-handed pitchers, with only two lefties in the bullpen. Even though the Mets starting pitching is aching, their bullpen is phenomenal.

The only real threat is Pujols, but he does not have that much protection in the lineup like he used to do, since Edmonds is still affected by the concussion he suffered last month. The Mets will most likely pitch around Pujols and go after Edmonds and Rolen.

Yes, I am a Mets fan and have tickets to game 2, but unless the Cards bats' wake up and the pitching is dominant, the Mets will win in 5.

I think the St. Louis Cardinals will win, The Mets best pitchers are hurt or on the disabled list. Pitching is the name of the game. Example The Tigers and the Yankees. The great hitters were shut down by great pitching.

The Cardinals seem hot right now but so are the Mets. I think its a matter of: Can the Cards pitching stop the Mets hitting? And Great pitching usually stops good hitting. So the question is do the Cards have great pitching? If they do the Cards will win and if not.....

I'm gonna say SL because the Mets pitching isnt' that great. Although, the Mets have a solid lineup and the Cards pitching isn't great either. Cards in 7

the mets will win because of there pitching staff is better than cardinals. the mets also won season series 4-2. the one person that will give the mets problems is fat albert. the one person that will give cardinals a problems is jose reyes. these two players are very important to both of their teams.

Sorrry, but I'm picking the Mets and Tigers for the series with
Detroit winning in 7 games extra inning walk-off homer by Pudge
Rodriguez.

Mets have tons of momentum right now and their bullpen is awesome. I would love for the Cards to win but for that to happen they have to play defense to help out their pitchers, give alot DPs and assisted outs. Or the Mets will run away, but I hope Pujols and the Redbirds make it happen!! Lets crack open a Busch beer!

Mets in 5, yes great pitching stops great hitting, but the Cardinals have only one above average pitcher and only one great hitter.
