i absolutely swear by maxfactor's flawless perfection foundation - it's fabulous and gives you a really healthy glow. it has a primer that you put on before the actual foundation which gives it a really good base to stick to so it lasts all day!

Bare Escentuals is a mineral based foundation, basically gives the coverage but looks natural and not a liquid mess thats hard to apply. It costs around 35 quid, comes with a brush, you need a very small amount and it will last you for months. You can buy off the QVC website, try it out for 30 days to see if you like. If you are fare skinned the medium shade will do fine.

No. 7 intelligence foundation (they also do a illuminator aswell), This is superb, it is about £10.00 and the tube lasts about 2-3 months and i use it everyday.
I have searched high and low for a great foundation like this, which doesnt smear, leave markes or lines, really makes your sking look soft and smooth and puts a tint of colour to your face, i swear by it!

The best foundations I have ever used are Neutrogena's Clear Skin makeup, and Mark Face Xpert. Both run around $10 or less. They are light - medium coverage. Good color selections too.

loreal translucide foundation (boots etc stock it) is brilliant! think it's about £8 or thereabouts & it lasts for ages. It gives really good coverage but still looks natural & gives a really healthy glow to skin too. And to top it all off, it has spf 15.
It is really good & you'll look beautiful - i promise x

about a year ago i started using a powder mineral foundation, i would never go back to a liquid of any kind, i use bare minerals brand, but there are many....love the coverage and never looks caked, i have noticed in walgreen some of the bigger name brands are coming out with mineral based powders also, but i would stick with bare minereals or bare essencials, hope this helps
