Are the Mp3/Mp4 players that are all over e-bay actually any good?

ps its the ones that are listed in hong kong i want to buy one but i think there is something dodgey about them

i bought a mp3 player from japan for 10 $ it works great. only buy from people using pay-pal. also read the reviews on each.

Do not buy an MP4. I bought one and it is crap. MP3's are fine
