Incurable ailments refers to human treatment. While on the other hand God is able to cure all ailments.

Positive thinking, when coupled to a true belief, can benefit you. Negative thinking, when coupled to a belief (basically believing a lie), has proven fatal in many cases.

Positive or negative thinking and repitition of words not based in belief is totally useless and empty.

Positive thinking when coupled to a belief in Truth as spoken by God (as found in the Bible) is even greater.

When ill, the greatest form of positive thinking is believing that God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to save us, to forgive sins and cleanse us from sinfulness, and to send us His Holy Spirit in order to know the will of the Father in Heaven. Once we know the will of our Father, we can speak it in faith and positively hold on to it, knowing that because He spoke it, it is already done. This is obviously a more advanced form of positive thinking and an unbeliever or new believer may not have this sort of faith.

If not, then go to someone who does have this kind of faith and your little faith coupled to their greater faith coupled to knowing the will of the Father for your healing, will bring about healing.

Nothing is incurable for God.

No. Unfortunately it doesn't. Originally people thought there might be a placebo effect that helped cure diseases with positive thought, but subsequent tests have shown that that only works on problems with a psychological component.

A placebo is a fake drug that you give people when doing medical trials, so you can check whether the drug itself is doing it or whether the positive thinking from believing you are getting medicine is doing it. Some medical trials also try it with a drug, a fake drug, and people who know they are getting nothing. Some researchers have summarised all those trials and concluded that there is no proven difference between the no-treatment groups and the placebo groups in these trials.

Here is a peer-reviewed article on the subject. It is a follow up to the original study a couple of years before, which showed the same thing:

During healing, we can stimulate and assist our Eternons in various ways. Meditation may be one and blood transfusion another. They are not incompatible. We must not separate: natural and spiritual therapies, on one side; artificial and scientific ones, on the other. After all, humans are an integral part of nature, not some creatures outside from it. Much of what humans do is natural , even if labeled artificial and scientific.
When positive thinking helps to produce healing molecules, it is natural.
When a coronary bypass helps to rejuvenate a heart, it is also natural.

Every one can easily verify how thoughts affect the body. The simple recollection of a scary experience quickly induces the production of adrenaline and accelerates our heartbeat. As Eternons, the physical and the spiritual in us are inseparable.
Victims of cancer should not have to choose between a grueling but statistically effective chemotherapy, and a gentle but unproved self-healing method. Instead, they should be taught how to use their inner consciousness to improve their external treatments.

It does not matter if holistic health methods operate through principles still unexplained. Gravitation too is unexplained, but this has not prevented us from using it to visit the Moon. No phenomenon should be discredited merely because it is not (yet) scientifically admissible.
Whatever the position of certain physicians, consciousness is a determining factor in the healing process.
A small percentage of cancer patients see their "incurable" tumors go entirely into remission. Certain HIV positive individuals never develop AIDS. Conversely, persons who lived for years with undisclosed ailments, may succumb after learning of their condition. In all these cases, mental attitude makes the difference between life and death
