many people told me that im beautiful,..some are my friends,some are my mothers friends,and some are new friends,,then how come no one is courting me?do i look ugly to guys?...

question is how do you feel about yourself? you may be beautiful but do you think you are? sometimes guys think pretty girls are stuck up or self pretentious. If you walk around knowing you are then others pick up on that and tend to dislike. Could be guys feel they don't have a chance with you before getting to know you. On the other hand if you have a poor self image of yourself it may tend to make the guys keep their distance. If there is someone you like then take the initiative to talk to him. Be yourself and never use your conversations to downgrade other people this will make you look unhappy with yourself as well. For us to answer directly whether you look ugly to guys is impossible to answer. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Why do you need so many people to tell you you are beautiful? Some men don't just go for looks either, some prefer personality and character, which is a bonus. Would you want to be with someone who was only attracted to your looks? What would you talk about? Insignificant drivel I would imagine but then it sounds as if you like that sort of thing.

Listen to your friends and family. Courting will come, the guys are not noticing you because they themselves may be shy. I take from the writing you are in the early teen's, and if even not, guys are still wary of beauty. Don't rush your life in any way. What you want will come sooner than you think.

Maybe you are not putting yourself in the right places. Some people meet in church, some in bars, some at work. Are you letting it be known that you are available and interested in dating?
You should know what type of person you are interested in and seek out places where you would meet singles. It is important to look nice and be nice. personality and being accessible is something you need to think about. Are you friendly? Let it be know that you are interested. you may have to make the first move. lol

Those people say that because they have to. I'll bet you are pathetically fishing for compliments to boost your self esteem. The irony is that when you get the compliment, you don't believe it because you know you had to fish for it. Stop wallowing in "poor me" land and get out there and go get the guy you want. Keep at it. Be yourself and you will attract someone to who you are. If you fake it, they will like the fake you and you will end up miserable. Stop worrying about looks and LIVE !!...Unless you are fat in which case, you need to step away from the table.

When a woman tells u ,ur pretty ,it means they envy u. If a lady envies u then young men should be flatter to see u ! And since ur loved ones and people know u ,speak frankly they express their opinion ! So stop worrying abt that and be happy for ur beauty coz not all get that chance!

a lot of people think that if they are beautiful it means that they are gonna get a guy easy .... this is not the case ....
its how u act yourself ....if u are beautiful but desperate men sense this and will avoid u like the plague desperation is ugly ......
stop looking, having a man on your arm isn't everything !!!
relax , have fun, enjoy your own company .... if u stop worry about it , its more likely to happen !!

They are probably intimidated because you are so pretty. this is very common for pretty girls, they don't get as much attention as every one thinks. Many men & boys are afraid to talk to the really pretty girls because they get this perception that they are not going to like them or that they are snobs. you may have to be the one to ask out a boy. Sometimes it is not only looks that capture the individual and unfortunatly many men nowadays do not care to get to know a person because they are only interested in one thing.......You should not care what anyone thinks anyways.....As long as you love yourself, someone will come along later in your life.....
