in terms of actually trying yes...but with current technology it would take too long so better to stick with "wish upon a star"

UP TILL NOW IT IS IMPOSSIBLE BUT IN THE COMING AGES IT MAY BECOME POSSIBLE OR EVEN EASY, ACTUALLY THE STARS ARE VERY FAR FROM THE EARTH, IT IS ESTIMATED THAT A FAST ROCKET NEEDS 4000 YEARS TO REACH A NEAREST STAR, BY THIS YOU CAN IMAGINE THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THE EARTH AND THE STARS. THE STARS HAVE A SHINNING BODY, IT MAY BE EXTREMELY HOT OR VERY COLD TOO, FIRST MAN WILL HAVE TO STUDY THE EXACT PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES OF THE STARS TO R EACH THEM. FOLLOWING ARE THE REASONS THAT MAKE THE REACH TO THE STAR IMPOSSIBLE THESE DAYS:
1.) THE STAR HAVE AN UNDEFINED STRUCTURE, EITHER TOO COLD OR TOO HOT.
2.) THE DISTANCE OF THE STARS FROM THE EARTH IS TOO MUCH, MORE THAN WE MAY THINK OF.
3.) ANY ROCKET CANNOT CARRY SO MUCH ENERGY AND MANPOWER TO HOLD FOR SUCH A BIG TIME SPAN UT ILL THEY REACH THE STAR.
4.) THE STARS MAY HAVE SOME PROPERTIES THAT MAY MAKE THE LANDING OF MAN ON THE STAR IMPOSSIBLE FOREVER eg. SOME DISASTER PROPERTIES, SOME BLOCKING PROPERTIES OR SOME CLIMATIC PROPERTIES ETC.
IN THE LAST I MAY SAY THAT "THE REACH TO THE STAR BY TODAY'S MAN IS IMPOSSIBLE, AND THE REACH TO STAR BY TOMORROW'S MAN MAY BE POSSIBLE"

Stars are so far away that the time required to travel reaching them is far longer than the longest known lifespan of any human being. Anyone who attempts to do so will be dead due to old age along the way. Sun is the nearest star to us, yet whatever obvious explanations will be given of inability of going there, the TIME is the main issue of hindrance.♥

No.As stars are nothing but like our own sun(which is nothing but a average star).
But we might be able to visit the planets of a star in case if it has any and if conditions are much like that of our neighbour planets.
Currently we have discovered only a hand full of planets out side our solar system.

so far is almost impossible,we know for a fact that it takes light years to the nearest star, and this ET civilisation would have to be older than our species which is around 10,000 years.I'm not saying a war is not possible, but at the present time it's not yet.Remember for a army of ET's to land in your back yard would have to take a advanced civilisation around fifty years.Einsteins theory says nothing can equal to the speed of light or pass it but the speed of light itself. That means the invasion force would have everything aboard their ship.So right now we should be fine at the present time for now. And watch for the sky.

the problem is not getting on Star. Getting on one is quite possible. Especially one that is dead. But getting there is the big problem. If man left earth for a star it would take hundreds of years to get there. He would be dead a long time before he reached it. His vehicle could crash on one and then your would be on the star. but dead

No!
you can't go on any star. because every star a is like our sun.
every star has a high heat that u cannot absorb. You can die.
If u go there with any support . You and your support will destroy from the star.
OK bye sanjeev.

No we cannot go to any stars. This is due to the fact tht the temperature of the stars is vey high due to continuous burning of gases (bcz of which they shine).
And 1 more thing,SUN IS A TYPE OF STAR,nt the othr way round.

No we can't. Firstly, the only star close enough to us in the Sun and it is too damn hot to go there. Any other star is either too far to get to or we would just burn when we get too close to it.
