I usually read 2-3 books at a time. The latest were JD Robb's Memory in Death and F. Paul Wilson's Infernal. I like both very much. Just before that was Strange Robby by Selina Rosen (very good)

My next book to read is Neil Gaiman's Fragile Things. I'm also waiting for the next Brad Denton, the next Rachel Caine and Charles deLint books.

I read a lot. We have over 10,000 books at our house so I am always reading.

I can never only read one book at a time - I always seems to have at least three on the go! At the moment I'm going through:

*Lolita
*Don Quixote
and
*Howl's Moving Castle

The most recent ones I've completely finished are-

*Interesting Times and Monsterous by Terry Pratchett (easy laugh-a-long books)
and
*The Princess Bride - The Good Bits Version abridged by William Goldman

Princess Bride is an incredible book if you're looking for a mindblowingly wonderful read! If you've seen the film of it, trust me, it didn't come anywhere close to the original material!!!

Take Care

The last book that I read was Willy Russell's "The Wrong Boy" which I finished during the summer holidays. I really admire Russell especially for his wonderful musical "Blood Brothers" so I loved this book which in a way is a coming of age story as a kid moves out of his home and to the north of England. It cleverly incorporates memories and flashbacks as well.

I hope to read "The Story of God" next which is by Sir Robert Winston adn was a television series a few years ago.

For the first time I am reading three books at time but I usually read only one.

The Road Less Travelled, Short Stories Vol. II by Anton Chekov and Collection of Short Stories by Anton Chekov, O. Henry, Guy de Maupassant, Charles Dickens, ...

Very good books indeed.

However, my favorite had always been Fountainhead by Ayn Rand ... I read it several times and I dont mind reading it again.

Rage of Angels.

Well. That's a good thriller. The ending has some problems because the heroine fall into a guy from under world. As a whole the plot was interesting because I could read the book in one breath.

Sandry's Book by Tamora Pierce. I love all of her books that I've read so far. I'm a mid twenties mother of two. She writes some great books. Before that it was The Cat who Saw Stars by Lilian Braun. It was good too.

This is a works of a literary genius, the book covers the life and times of 'Jessica'. Set in the outback of Australia. During a time of pioneers, stockmen and farmers. It gives an insight of a family, torn by grief, greed & betrayal. A must read.

I read Amy Tan's "Saving the Fish from Drowning"..well, it was okay. I liked Amy's past novels better. It's a story of a dead woman narrating the trip of her American friends to China and Burma, how they were held hostage by an ancient tribe in Burma, and what happened to them after the experience....
