Tower of London is pretty cool, and you should try to catch some theatre as well.
If you are here around Fireworks Night (4th Nov I think ) Primrose Hill do some very good displays.
Harrods is always worth a visit, and the Christmas Store is open there, which is always nice to look around.
It will be quite cold in Nov so remember to pack some warm sweaters.

As well as all the attractions mentioned above wehave some good museums too, Natural History, Science, Victoria and Albert... all good for rainy days. If you are here around 5th November it'll be Bonfire Night so look up Guy Fawkes online. Noovember 12th is Rememberance Sunday and there is a parade the service at the cenotaph, pretty much tha whole country takes part in both Bonfire Night and Rememberance Sunday.
There is more to Britain than London though! Oxford, Cambridge, Bath, Bristol are all nice cities and are at most 2 hours train journey from London.

Crikey, where do you even start..
South Bank is wicked for art galleries and the London Eye.
North Bank has the Parliment buildings and the palaces
Tower of London for gruesome history stuff
The Jack the Ripper tour is really good
Kensington & Chelsea, Hyde parks is great for history and posh things, the Musuems are the best in the world also
Qew Gardens are a magical place if you like that sort of thing
Take in a show around Leicester Square or the west end
The gay/sex quarter around Soho is fantastic for drinking and people watching
Getting out of London is definitely worth doing also, Stone henge millions of cathedrals and historic stuff every where you look...
There is so much to do, just get on the web for London tourism
and get a wish list together is the best thing to do...
Londoners, what else would you recommend?

You really need to go on the London Eye, it is wicked and you can see for miles when you get to the top!
If you like shopping then Oxford Street, Regent Street and Tottenham Court Road are great (as that is where I work everyday)!
Other than that try going down to Greenwich, it is really lovely there and they have a very unusual market that sells some wonderful stuff, in fact they have an out door one as well as the indoor one!
Oh and then you can go to the "Pie and Mash shop" a great East London tradition, that any East London person (as I am born and breed) will tell you!
Have fun and enjoy London!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is a fantastic place!

There is so much to see, it would depend what you are in to. There's the planetarium, Madam Tussuad's, so many art galleries. Visit Soho, its vibrant and the food in the Chinese restaurants is out of this world. Go to the theatre there are so many fabulous shows on at the moment, if you book a matinee on an afternoon it is so much cheaper... Of course there is the palace, you may also see the changing of the guard . Try and book the Jack the ripper experience, its so spooky yet great fun. There are Disco boats that cruise up the Thames, food is included in the ticket price.. I hope you have a fabulous holiday hon. xx

You got to check out Camden town market. It's about two miles of stales which have everything you can buy from Cd's to food from all over the world. Best time to go is Sunday. To get there you need to take the underground on the northern line. I use do there every Sunday at on time.
All so if you like music go and see we will rock you.

There's loads to see in London!!
Here are a few places of interest:
-The tower of London
-London zoo (amazing!!)
-The Natural History Museum is excellent
And if you are interested in art and culture, there are loads of art galleries, and there is the Shakespeare's Globe theatre - which is well worth a visit for the productions and the mere architecture of the building!
Enjoy your holiday!!

London's just the best city on Earth. It's impossible to get bored here.
Soho, Chinatown, The Docklands, Tottenham, Brixton, it's all good. There's tonnes of live music (especially in Camden and Kentish Town). There's cinemas EVERYWHERE. There's pubs built on top of pubs. If you wanna know the best pub in London, e-mail me (I don't want it getting overcrowded so I'm not putting it in my answer).
