No. God may have intended for us to clone animals and things. I believe that we are supposed to learn as much about the universe as possible. There will still be secrets, we already know that the vast majority of the entire universe cannot be seen. Our senses only detect a small percentage of reality, possibly less than one percent. Intentional? Knowledge is not evil. Choosing to do evil with knowledge is. Most of today’s religion is antiquated, holding on to tradition that is somewhat obsolete. This is not a bad thing. The problem is when people are taught to obey without question and be suspicious of new things. We are a curious being that is hungry for exploration and answers to the unexplained. Maybe genetic research is a prerequisite for some greater purpose like interstellar travel. Or, more likely the answer to curing disease. Could there be a code locked in our genetic make up?

God gave scientists the ability to understand cloning, why would he do that unless he want us to be able to do it. That being said, he also gave us the abilty to strap explosives to ourselves, to jump off of tall biuldings and kill ouselves, and commit terrible atrocities etc. so who is to say?
In Genesis, didn't God give Man dominion over the beasts of the land and sea, and birds in the air? This must surely include cloning. He also gave us compassion, to understand what will cause suffering to animals, and that we shouldn't do such things as cloning, which will make animals suffer just for our comfort or to produce food more cheaply, or as experiments etc.
Confused?
Now you're getting to know how difficult it is to try to work out God's Will.
Go with your own conscience, You can never be wrong if you are stopping something suffering.
Hope this helps

If you're a Born Again, everything is a sin. However since you are "saved" you have nothing to worry about. For the rest of us who actually have to be good to get to heaven, let us worry about this vexing question of the morallity of cloning.

How would we know? Who would you trust to tell you what God's will is? Will you trust him when he says it's God's will you have sex with him, or give him all your money? Remember Waco, TX. Remember Jim Jones. Remember the Catholic priest pedophiles. Responsible human beings look into their hearts to find God's will. All the rest are sheep.

No. If so, God wouldn't give us the power to do it: he gives the humans the right to advance technologically as far as they, can without harming anyone.
