I took a Lunesta to help sleep, but have chest and head conjestion. Is an overdose possible combining these two medicines?

NyQuil's what 40% alcohol? I used Lunesta for a few days and had trouble waking up...or at least get up and get moving so I stopped using it.

Never combine alcohol with a class of drug known as a Hypnotic; even if it is only a schedule IV narcotic.

I took lunesta with 3cc of nyquil

No, but I would probalby only take half the dose of NyQuil to keep from feeling hung over the next day. Better yet, just a regular decongestant with out the sleep aid in it.

take a cold medicine that isn't for night time. taking extra sleeping medicine isnt safe and could possibly have bad reaction. why not take just regular dayquil or better yet, ask the doc or pharmacist

You can take sudafed safely with it. But you should ask the pharmacist first and always. I was on lunesta and took sudafed;-)

yes NyQuil has alcohol 25 % , in it, so ask a doctor or pharmacist
