I like 1. The second had a little more action, but it seemed like it was a little too much. There really wasn't much of a plot in the second one because it seems like the director was struggling to outdo the first. I thought Davy Jones looked cool, but the skeletal effects in 1 were way better. Plus Johnny Depp got more face time in the first Pirates ;)
