Its when a pregnant woman's friend organises a party for the mother to be. Then all her friends bring baby presents, clothes etc and they eat junk food and gossip. the mum to be can organise it herself also. Its so the expectant mother has the essentials she needs for her new arrival and to be made a fuss of!
