Most of the people would say sunset because they have not seen sunrise because when sun rises they use to be in bed. That is why they don't know the beauty of sunrise. It is so beautiful. It seems as if nature is waking up after a good sleep. The mild fragrance of flowers in the morning and the chirping of birds... it seems we are in heaven. I really like sunrise. The atmosphere use to be so fresh and it seems that a new day is arriving and you really want to welcome it.

It has to be the sunset. The colours always seem to be far more amazing and as bizarre as it sounds I think there's always a different frame of mind for a sunset, you watch it go down and when the sunset finishes your in darkness but with a sunset you are watching it rise and it stays like that for hours and hours, there's not really an end to watching a sunrise. Therefore I think watching the sunset is more beautiful as there's more too it.

Being very very DRY about the matter:
I suppose they're the same, for the fact the visual you get should basically be the same.
Adding some juice to it:
The location will make a big difference. Usually because of the climate- humidity, clouds, sand and even pollution factors might be totally different so you get something else out of the same scene.
Oh man, drop the all jar of juice into it:
They are too different to decide, I love them both (photographing or just watching). Sunset is more romantic by closing the curtain over another day, as appose to sunrise, which might be somewhat harsh by kick starting the engine.
The scene is all different. animals, people, cars and plants all act differently.

Sunrise..it is the most beautiful time..those who like sunset are those who woke up late everyday... and has never seen the beauty of sunrise.

Both Sunrise and sunset are gorgeous!
Go and see the sunrise over the river Ganges!
Go to Bombay and see the sunset in the Arabian sea. You would wonder at His marvellous paintings!

hard to choose ........both are beautiful i will pick the sunrise, one has rested all night and wake up to the sunrise, gives you inner peace and thankful for the beautiful sights and know you have another great day ahead of you...
