I was born and raised in America and I have yet to meet a person genuinely non-racist.

Secretly being racist is common in America.

Racism occurs in many levels:
Without words
Harsh stares
Rude remarks
Ignorance or Fear of the unknown (of different cultures)
Poor customer service or no customer service at all
Racial profiling or targeting innocent people
Probing or investigating innocent people
Stereotyping
Segregating Communities and/or schools and jobs, employment status
Hate crimes...

I could go on but I think you get the point.

Sadly this is not true, there is plenty of racism in America though it usually kept quiet. People don't walk down the street yelling racial slurs. Racism is ignorance. People refuse to open there minds to all the beautiful people and cultures that make up America and learn to accept it's beauty.

Its good that this friend has not experienced racism in USA. It is most definitely alive and will probably exist as long as mankind does. However, it seems to decline with each generation. Small children don't care about race - adults teach it to them.

That is a lie, there is racism, however, it is not openly tolerated, most of the ignorant people keep it under raps, they do not openly display their hatred. Sad but very true. I wish their were no racism. the world would be a better place. God bless
