Totally depends on the individual circumstances, depends on if the executors can be found, if the executors are still alive, if you can get an appointment with a solicitor, how much money is invovled, if the will is contensted etc

The will could be probated immediately after the death of the testator.

immediately after the burial normally, unless there are problems then its up to the feuding parties
