As and optimist, I am sure it'll be fine.
Global acts are taking place, very slow, but I can hear some sounds from the UN, EU, Russia and China.
I suppose that will make a clear path to stop the progress in the two new cases. Some sanctions and negotiations should be enough.
As a rationalist, I know people like us (as I guess we are both looking for peace and quiet life), should speak out.
One sad fact about most peace full people, that they're quiet unlike radicals who make much more impact.
I hope your question here will raise some more waves as I hope my answer will be read by some people to make even the smallest change.
Don't forget to call me if you do go to Mars, would like to join the adventure!

I'll get thumbs down for saying this, but it's the only logical truth I know about this so can't lie just to get thumbs up:
We're all dead, get used to it. People have nukes use them, it's not for decoration. It's only a matter of time before we're either dead, or living half burned with cancer and hair falling out, or perfectly healthly but killed by another human who's become barbaric over New World Order.
A harsh reality yes, but at least we'll die a dramatic death, it won't be boring.
