straight is the kind of jean that is a lil bit relaxed yet looks like you are working on a ranch sort of jean. they are long, a little bit off your slin, and accentuate you.
parrallel leg is a little more tighter than the straight.

Go into a Levi's store and try a few pairs on - think that would be the best thing to do. Also, if you live near a big "New Look" shop, go in there as they have a great men's department (well the one here in Glasgow does!) and have a huge variety of jeans priced about £15+ which are really really good for the money.

Oprah had a show on jeans, did you happen to see it? It was great! Though it was more for women, Lee is coming out with some really great ones, for men and women, you should check their website, the commercials are great too.
Yes there is a difference, straight leg fit better and are less baggy, you should be able to find a pretty close fit, find a store in your area.

I thought cuts were more for women clearly im wrong, i tend to find straight leg hard to wear with boots, bit tight round the legs, i like regular cut they flare slightly at the bottom good for boots, and trainers, look rubbish with shoes though!
i like men in slightly baggy jeans myself, so boot but and levis are good, river island do wonderful jeans quite cheap my man says they are so comfy, and has a few pairs, also cheap jeans try officers club!

In Levis your best pick would be the SKINNERS. They have a slight boot cut, thinner and less baggy cut across the thighs and surrounding areas while sitting below the waist but not super low like other models like the OFFENDER. I own 2 pairs and I can tell you they arent baggy but just slightly flared on the bottom. Try one if u come across it!

Stick with straight cut. And not too tight. They should hang a little but not be super baggy. Those look the sexiest to me on guys.
