at home I have a linksys wireless router (used with NTL cable broadband). It has never been any problem.
On the other hand, I know two peopel who have netgear routers and have had various problems - although they do use AOL - so they probably deserve it :-)

Dont get Linksys, I got a router day one i had a problem box kept turning off. Sent it back to them, took 4weeks to get a new one. Plugged it in 2 weeks later same problem turning off, asked to send it back they said my warranty is void now....
have Netgear or belkin

we have a netgear super wireless ADSL modem router 108 Mbps. You will need to find out how thick your walls are and how far you need your signal to travel on , just what strengh your wireless modem you need. We needed a strong modem as we live on a farm and the house walls are thick.

Netgear are the best routers. I have a netgear wireless router and have never had a problem with it. They are really easy to setup.

i find lynksys brilliant and the after sales is cracking if you have any problems ring them up freefone number and they will litarally talk you through it step by step until all is up and running very nice people fair play and they wont rush off without first making sure you are happy that alls well
