Books are for EVERYONE! Just because they are published and promoted as "children's books" doesn't mean they are exclusively for children. Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials series is excellent for adults to read as is Mallory Blackman's Noughts and Crosses. Have recommended these to many adults and the feedback is always good.

No, we check books out of the library for free! BTW, the two series you mentioned are favorites in my middle school library. :)

we go to the library. i got my daughter, an avid reader, some books i read when i was a kid. i read them over again. she is into "hank the cow dog" series, i've been reading them too. very funny
