The destiny of where you go after death is in your hands right now. First, to the morgue, into the coffin then buried 6ft under-ground. Death is when you cease to live. So the grave-yard is your home maybe for a day if you are lucky or for as long as the sound of the final beagle is heard from the eastern sky. The sheep hear their Master's voice and will rise. In the twinkling of an eye they put on bodies of immortality and go where their Master had promised to re-settle them. During the decomposition process the things of the flesh return to the earth, where they belong. The spirit-being is only taken away from us. At the sound of the beagle, the flesh is too heavy to ressurect becos earth is its home. The spirit-being is very light and is easy to ressurect.
In your life today, who are you feeding most, the spirit- being or the natural being( flesh)? This then determines where you will go at the sound of the last trumpet.

Based on Hindu Mythological book "Gita",
"The soul is immortal, only body dies. Soul again takes birth depending upon your consciousness at the time of death."

We are made from star dust and will eventually return to star dust. At some point what we where is remixed into something new. It is human arrogance to think we are only stable entity in the universe.

It depends on us if we follows certain faith like christian, hindu or muslims or Non-believer these have different notion of death. In a christian faith we are good person then we go to heaven and if our life is bad we go to hell. In hindu they believe in reincarnation etc.

Depends on what you believe in. Depends also on how you lived your life here on earth. Some believe if we're bad, we reincarnate as insects or roaches. Some believe we all go to heaven, some believe we go to purgatory, some believe we go to hell. Some believe we just vanish like puffs of smoke. It depends on YOUR belief.

we will go to a place called"Barzakh".in this place we will be asked about our belief by Angels.but we are not in this place for ever.after that we will be in"sahraye Mahshar" &waiting for the results of the things we have done in this world.my answer is conformed to Islamic sources
