"Alas Babylon", is very good. I have it in my personal collection to reread over and over again. I'm currently reading "Earth Abides", which is another post apocalyptic novel. It is very good also. If you liked "Alas Babylon" you will enjoy "Earth Abides".

YES! Read the series by Robert Rankin, it's a trilogy with the books:
1. Armageddon: The Musical
2. Armageddon II: The B-Movie (They Came and Ate Us)
3. Armageddon III: The Remake (The Suburban Book of the Dead)
It's smashing. Enjoy!

Michael D. O'Brien, "Father Elijah: An Apocalypse". the author is Catholic. It follows the e book of Revelations and the appearance of the Antichrist. it is not submit-apocalyptic, yet apocalyptic. I enjoyed it. that's ok written.
