actually i want to uninstall MSN messenger but the problem is i cannot find it in the "add or remove program" list...but i found it in the hard disk C ONLY...i afraid deleting in from there would effect my other program... help me!!!!!! it really bugging me...because i have to wait untill the MSN messenger to appear first, before my window ready ......what should i do.......??????

I agree with the other answer but you can also go to run and type in msconfig and hit start and un check msn .That will stop it as well

You have to go to Windows programs to untick this one not just add/remove programs but also the add/remove windows components on the left. Add/remove is in the control panel

Double click to open the Messenger and click on Tools/Options and click on preferences tab, un-tick the option which says "Run messenger on windows startup" .

Next time when you restart PC it will not start.
