Astrologically Speaking, in terms of a Virgo(earth being) getting along with a Fire person... you are most compatible with a leo itself... although, Im only judging by the sun signs alone.. you could go on astro.com and find an in-depth compatibility match[for free] between the two of you.. it's better to check on other planets as well.. hope this helps :)

Hi Kitty-- aren't these skeptics helpful. (not!) Why would someone waste their time talking trash about something he doesn't believe in. That's kind of pathetic.

The real answer from an astrological perspective is this-- compatibility is not based on your Sun sign, but on your astrological chart. The chart is a map of the Solar system that takes into account not only the sign of the Sun, but the Moon (which represents your feelings), Mercury (communication), Venus (affection), Mars (sex), and more. Your own chart is very complex, and so is your man's-- there's a lot going on. And potential compatibility is shown by the interplay between these two complex systems. So really, it's impossible to say if it will work based on your Sun signs. But I agree with the folks who say, if you feel it, there must be something there. Good luck with your exploring!

I'm a leo and my fiance is a virgo. We get on really well but whe nwe do fight we really do tear lumps out of each other but we always make up really quickly (I'm told that's pretty typical too.)

Just go for it. If I'm going to try to give advice all I can say is forget the horoscopes and try flying blind for a while. If it works out then great if it doesn't it's time to move on.
