You might want to try a different type of jeans... Get a bigger size with a little higher waistline so it doesn't cut you off and make the muffin top. Properly fitted jeans shouldn't make you bulge over. Jeans that are too small or a bad style for you will. In the meantime, you can wear longer style sweaters and hoodies with t-shirts... don't get anyhting skin tight. Check out the link, they have a lot of cute clothes for girls that are bigger in the waist and thigh area...

I find that shops like Dorothy Perkins & Matalan...also Bay Trading have some nice tops that don't show off the overbulge (I have the same problem). These places have some very nice t-shirt style tops that seem to hang fitted but flattering rather than embarassing. Give it a try and good luck in reaching ur target weight!!

Get something to keep in your tummy undernethe so you can wear any shirt you like
Black or vertical striped shirts are good
Pants such as leggings are considered 'fashinable' right now and they do a good job of holding in your stomach
Long tee shirts that cover that area works great too
Or you could wear whatever shirt you like and wear a light jacket or a hoodie or a sweater over it and maybe unbutton/unzip it just enough to catch a glimps of your beautiful shirt

Hope I helped ^_^

Several suggestions
Black tops are always flattering
white tops aren't
dont wear horizontal stripes
go with vertical
anything that has tapering at the sides will give you a nice slim look.

Currently the fashion is really baggy shirts i.e. baby doll style so if your a big girl i dont suggest them as they tend to make even skinny girls look somewhat pregnant (not meaning to sound rude), I personally dont find them flattering. I think that perhaps structured corsets may do the trick just for a while until you do reach your desired goal ! good luck !
