my hair dresser is catholic. for some reason she was telling me about her birth control method while doing my hair the other day..have you ever heard of checking your cervex with your finger? she says that if its soft and snotty its open and youll get pregnant. if its hard like the tip of your nose, its closed and you cannot get pregnant..im 44 years old and have never heard anything like this..

I must admit i have not either, it seems a very unsafe way to me also. However i have heard that Catholic followers are not permitted to use birth control by their religion

its true to an extent....like our menstruel cycle the mucous down there has a cycle too...its only as effective as tracking your period though.
