Nope, manatees can't jump. Although they are large and very muscular animals (believe it or not they have no blubber and very little fat) they can't jump. This is because they only move at about 2-3 miles per hour on average, which is just not fast enough to get that big ol' body out of the water, no matter how muscular!

I don't think they can. The are slower moving mammals, even in the water. But that isn't to say that it has never happened. Just don't think anyone has seen one doing it.

Nope. We have lots of them here in Florida and I can assure you, they don't jump.
