Can I have a lawyer go for my court appearance issued at time of citation?

This is in Orlando, FL. I was issued a citation for 84/45 and there is a new law in FL that requires you to appear in court, well, I was wondering can I have a lawyer appear for me?

The appearance of a lawyer for client substitutes for the presence of the latter as provided for in the Rules of Court.
