Yes. In college i lived in the International Dorm and had the pleasure of getting to meet people from all over the world. People from Nicaragua, Finland, Zimbabwe, Japan, Hong Kong, S. Korea, France, Venezuela. It was a very exciting and rewarding experience and i learned so much from the whole experience.
I highly recommend anyone getting out of their comfort zone, suspending their prejudices and hang-ups for just a bit, and try to get to know someone from a culture that you've never been exposed to before. It'll change you for the better for sure!

Yeah, I have friends from all over the world. It's really interesting to get to know people from different cultures. There aren't usually any major problems as long as both parties are open minded and realize that since they are from different cultures and do things differently and have different views on things minor misunderstandings can come up. It's good to learn about other cultures to be able to avoid major clashes.
The only times when I've had problems was when people weren't really open minded or didn't realize cultural differences and overreacted over misunderstandings.

Yes I have had a great deal of contact with people from other cultures.
I lived abroad for a year, I have traveled to several countries and I have lived with people from China, India, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Fiji and so forth.
As for problems I would say it is not a problem other than sometimes communication can be frustrating and sometimes there are misunderstandings. If you are genuinly kind though and honest about things you do not know and don't jude others for their way of living there is no realy problem at all.
I am not sure I understand what exactly you were asking.

Yes and I was AMAZED how much the British drink relative to us Americans. According to Americans (like me) I drink a lot of beer when I go out.
Compared to the Brits, I am a LIGHTWEIGHT by far. They drink a LOT. Fortunately I am from the states so see excessive alcoholism as more of a vice than a social standing, but they don't see it that way.

umm They are not evil as the media portrays to be. IT's good to immerse yourself with others from different views because it keeps you in check. You have to be sensitive about their culture but I would rather have diversity than a single race.
