I am a Chinese, but I never been to China. For me, is very sad that China is going into its industrial stage, a lot of natural scenery is polluted and destroyed. However, every country goes pass this stage to become a developed country. Maybe people in the world notices a lot of bad news because China is so big, the percentage of pollution might not be the worse compare to all over the world. Still, I do hope China government can do something to help to prevent more damaging.
The other view is the rich and poor issue in China. Most people in the country side are still not educated and being poor their whole lives.
But China is still a very beautiful country for me and I hope to go there one day.

I have heard that China is becoming industrial so fast that there is a great deal of pollution. There is also food and water borne illness. It has very many people and they are wonderful, in general. The countryside is beautiful, but much of nature has been dominated by man.

Im Taiwan- Taiwan is VERY HUMID, lots of mosquitos, polluted, noisy, and crowded. but, the cultures there are very unique, and if you get the chance to shop, taiwan has the finest shoping malls around. the country side is pretty nice too, very serene.
ps. tai' language is different from chinese
