The first time the guy looked at me we met in a wedding ceremony he's an absolute stranger to me he was staring and his eyes just came right back to me every few minutes and the very third day we meet again weird coincidence he comments on my good looks in front of my parents...did he like me or he wanted to gain trust?

I would say he seems infactuated with your looks. If you barely know him, I would be wary of 'he likes you' since he doesn't know you. But, it seems as if he's definitely interested and probably would be a great chance to get to know him, if you are so inclined.

He may not know it, but he's probably going to be gay one of these days. Take it as a compliment and forget it. And the lady above probably is right that he also meant it as a compliment to them that they had a nice looking child. We feed that kind of bull all the time to people; and usually there's an element of truth, and it always scores brownie points with the folks. Americans really are hung up more than ANY other place in the world! Chill.

Of course he likes you, and this being the case, he certainly was attempting to win your trust.
How did your Dad respond?

It (the compliment) works both ways... as a compliment to your parents looks' & that they raised you well and that he thinks you're hot=)
I mean it sounds like this guy is really into you. What more proof do you want?!

He is being sincere, and probably wants your parents to approve of him.
