why do people come on here and ask if they are pregnant when they havent even missed a period yet! i know some people will be offended by this comment but shouldnt you take a preg test!!!! sorry i just dont know why people do it??!!

yes i understand if it is a complex situation like they are 2 weeks late and neg test but its when they are not due a period for 2 weeks and ask if they are pregnant! i dont get it!

I have to say that I see your point. But I think there are other reasons they do it - some may do it for attention, I think some people are just very nervous and some people just don't know. I always say the same thing to them - go to a doctor. But sometimes I get sick of doing that and simply don't answer them at all.

They are all very nervous, whether wanting to be pregnant or not they will be anxious and flustered. Talking out loud to someone might not be a possibility so they turn to Answers for support. They might not want the question answered per say just wanted to get things off their chest and get feedback.

Some people don't understand the way the period works, So I understand the reasoning behind their questions, but I am with you, Why don't they just go to the doctor!!

I have often wondered the same thing....if you are worried about being pregnant....why not go to the Dr or get a test.....we dont know if you are pregnant....& why ask if you only missed one day?...I am ALWAYS late on mine....& my tubes have been clipped, tied & burned!.....lol...

Most likely because they are scared and don't want to go to a dr until they are almost positive they are pregnant. Who wants their parents to find out when they aren't married- right?
