I would have to pick popeye simply because he seems slightly less like a doofus and because he has big strong arms, tattoos, a good diet plan. ALSO he is a romantic of course, he is always fighting Pluto to help Save his girl and sweep her off her feet.
Elmer Fud would be one of those husbands who is just out hunting with his buddies all the time and whom might leave you for a tranvestite (if a bunny in drag is still called that).
