Gimli's comments are among the funniest!

I like Aragorn's statement "This day does not belong to one man but to all. Let us together rebuild this world that we may share in the days of peace."

Amen!

Other notable lines that come to mind are:

1. Gandalf to Pippin (as they are about to meet Denethor): Now, listen carefully. Lord Denethor is Boromir's father. To give him news of his beloved son's death would be most unwise. And do not mention Frodo, or the Ring. And say nothing of Aragorn either. In fact, it's better if you don't speak at all, Peregrin Took.

2. Gimli to Legolas (after Legolas defeats the party of the Oliphant & its riders): "That still only counts as one."

3. Gimli to Aragorn/Theoden/Legolas: "Certainty of death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?"

4. When the dead king tells Aragorn "The dead do not suffer trhe living to pass", Aragorn replies back saying "You will suiffer ME!"

5. I like Pippin's optimism when he tells Gandalf "But we have the White Wizard on our side. That's got to count for something."

6. Gimli Again! :-) When the King of the Dead tells Aragorn "Release us", Gimli says "Bad Idea. Very handy in a tight spot, these lads, despite the fact they're dead."
