diet:
drink lots of fluid (preferably pure water). avoid mucus stimulating dairy products.

lifestyle:
air your home to avoid stuffiness. hoover your bed to avoid allergens on your sheets.

alleviating a sinus attack:
paracetomol. avoid strong light. visit a steam room or put your head over a bowl of hot water and cover it with a cloth and breath in normally. take a hot shower.

When you are in the shower,fill your hands with hot water and sniff it up as if you were using a straw.You will find this a bit painful but it really helps, do this once a day till you find it has helped .Should not take longer than three days.I hope this is the cure for you.

I have a dear friend who is a doctor and he suggests that the salt with the water in the nose everyday will do the trick. I just started it so I can't really tell you if it's going to work, but maybe...worth a shot I think.

Get some Potters Allerclear tablets,they are a herbal remedy and you should beable to get them in Health Shop,I bought mine on interne,they are really good,the medication my Dr prescribed did'nt help at all but these tablets did.

I find steam inhalations first thing in the morning and shortly before going to bed work. Similar to nasal congestion with cold/flu, but I find you don't need the volatile oils often recommended.

Try using one of those facial saunas with some olbas oil in it, It has worked for me.

okay i ono if this will work or not...but...get hot hot hot water..as hot as you can stand...and soak a rag in it....then put the rag over your nose and cheeks.....fold it in half if you have too...then soon you will feel tickly feelings...then youll sneeze...and all of your sinus problems will be gone....dont know if it will work for you...but its worked for me..:-)
