Most visas are of six months to one year duration. Strictly speaking there is no prescribed way around the ban unless the hiring organisation (gainful employment) applies on the prospective employee's behalf. Proven employees are allowed longer periods through sponsorship of the company.

Following an excerpt from the primer:

"Article.128 of the labour law, where a non-national worker leaves his work without a valid reason before the expiry of the contract for a limited period, he may not, even with the employer's consent, take up other employment for a year from the date on which he left his work.

It shall not be lawful for any other employer who is aware of the fact to recruit such worker or keep him in his service before the expiry of such a period.

If the contract is limited, Anand has to wait until the expiry of the contract. Otherwise his employer can put a ban on him.

If the contract is unlimited, he may give a one-month notice to the employer for termination of service. After that his new employer can issue a visa for him."

i am working here in UAE also, as far as i know, if they cancel your visa, there will be an automatic ban of 6 months, but u can still enter UAE thru visit visa. there are companies that can lift ur ban if they have connection with the government. but if your visa is transferable, (which i think is not coz as u've said they cancelled it already), then there is no problem, another employer can give u a visa.
