Well....
Rabbits are not endangered. When I go hunting I can shoot as many as I want.
But if there are only eight left from some endangered species I will only shoot eight.
That will solve the problem.

Have you heard of Endangered Animals? What does it involve? How can you contribute to its solution?
Animals that are NOT endangered include chickens, cows, goats, pigs, horses, dogs ... animals that humans like to have around them. Ones that humans have found commercial value for.
To save some of the endangered species, they have to be more valuable alive than dead. So Elephants - what can they do that out values their ivory so poachers get less value from them dead than alive? ...
One of the biggest killers of butterflies is loosing their host plants (there are very few trees butterflies can lay their eggs on to feed the growing caterpillars). When tropical forests get cut down, many species loose their homes.
I've heard of tribes in tropical areas that were offered money to cut down their forests. Instead, they sold butterflies to collecters and made money to save their forests that way. Butterflies can lay hundreds of eggs, yet 20 butterflies is worth a tree to a tribe.
good luck on your project

yes of course ..endangered animals are those which are on the verge of extinction mainly coz of illegal hunting and poaching and habitat destruction...u can contribute to it by saying no to products made up of animal skins and others which are cutting down forests so that u can save the animal's habitat and also stopping the purchase of the wild animals which are caught by porters. u could also help by joining in a joint forest management group or any other group to ensure their protection..
