You can't "predict" the gender of a child -- you can find out with certain scientific tests.
The folk-tale "predictions" (carrying low, back hurts, heartburn, there are hundreds of them) do no better than chance in "predicting" the sex of an unborn child. In other words, you'd get just as many right answers by flipping a coin and saying, "heads it's a boy, tails it's a girl" :)

What? predicting is never accurate just a lucky guess!
The only way to tell the gender is by ultra sound and those have been wrong on occassion too!

I tried all of the old wives tales and everything pointed me to having a boy. The only true way to tell is with an ultrasound... I was surprised to find out I was having a girl! Every one is different and the wives tales are not accurate or true. They are fun to try, but don't rely on them! Good luck!

an ultra sound can determine the sex of your child.....the doctor performing the ultra sound would be able to tell you the % of correctness.....it all depends on what angle and view they have at the time.....and it is more accurate at the 20 week ultra sound.....
