how to become a counsellor in Canada?

Hi, I am an undergraduate anthropology student, and I would like to try counselling after competing my first degree.
What are the steps I must or should take in order to become a counsellor in Canada?
Is master degree a must?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
I am interested in family, marriage, child, youth, and crisis counselling, especially for the First Nations or cross-cultural groups.

what type of counsellor?

like school councillor..

you may need to go to teachers college..

can you clarify a little more on what type of counsellor?
