If you don't vote, you have no right to complain if you disagree with government policy.

If you don't exercise this right to vote, then you deserve the government for whom the other people vote.

The right to vote is a very important privilege. A country cannot be called a democracy unless evrey one votes.

Because we are a democracy. And Democracy means quite literaly "the people's government". We choose who and what we want in office by voting. Not directly in some cases, such as when voting in a president. Then we use the electoral college...all made of members of whom we vote in. We vote for everything...that is a privilage we have, so we exercise it as often as we can...

Voting is a special privilege we have. It gives us our 2 cents to have a voice in our country. Everyone's 2 cents add up. Exercise your opportunity to make your voice heard. If you don't vote, you can't complain what or who was picked. People, bills, or taxes.

It is not.

They (the people ruling this country) just want you to think you had your chance to change anything. Lets face it...voting never changed anything.

You get comments like: If you don't vote you get what you deserve....If you vote you get what you deserve. Catch 22. What ever the govenment will be, 'we' did it.
