Ok, here's the story: there's this guy that confessed his love to one of my friend, and she said "no" to him straight in his face, and has been acting like a jerk to him ever since. Then for some reason, he got close to me and one other friend(girl) of mine, and now i start to like him, but when we decided to go see a movie together, he still asked if the girl he got rejected would come along. Of course, she refused, but since he still seems to like this girl, should i just give up? Or should i wait a little longer and see what happens?

And he's not using me so he can still talk to that girl, because i hardly hang out with her in first place.

I think you should wait a little longer, coz now he's still heads over heels with her, whatever you say might not achieve the desired effect, worst, he might want to try to be together with you to get over that gal (then that's using you)

Moreover, telling it now might also spoil your gd friendship with him now...not worth the risk

But I won't suggest you to stay with him for very long time, coz feelings will develop, by then it might be too difficult to leave him (if he still likes the other), just give yourself (and himself) some time, see how things go, and then decide if you want to confess to him, or just forever treat him as a normal gd friend.

The attraction towards the other girl is still deep rooted in his mind only you can change him and drag him closer to you.

See what happens. If this girl really dislikes him, and isn't trying to lead him on (she doesn't seem to be - seems to be keeping her space) he'll probably move on sooner rather than later.

If he wants her he can try harder by himself if she does'nt like him he has to learn to accept rejection stay out of it and leave the poor girl alone she knows what she wants.
